Classical Christian Logic/Rhetoric Teacher
– 2026-2027 School Year

At Amazing Grace Academy (AGA), we believe that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord and the cultivation of a virtuous soul. We are looking for a dedicated and spirited Logic and Rhetoric Stage teacher who understands that academic mastery is inseparable from spiritual formation.
This role is a sacred calling within the ministry of Amazing Grace Fellowship. We seek an educator who will not only challenge students' intellects but also shepherd their hearts, modeling the character of Christ while leading them toward the integration of faith and reason. Core Operational Responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.
- Approximately: 5-6 hours per day of instructional time per day
- Term: Mid-August 2026 – Early June 2027.
- Salary: Determined by experience; discussed during the interview process.
- Reports to: Headmaster.
As a Logic and Rhetoric Stage teacher, you will lead students through the transition from fundamental "building blocks" (Grammar) to the "how and why" (Logic) and finally to the art of persuasive communication (Rhetoric). You will be responsible for a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes a Christian worldview in the following disciplines:
1. Science & Mathematics- Lead students in discovering the order and design of God's creation through scientific inquiry and mathematical proofs.
- Foster a classroom environment where students learn to think critically about data and use logic to solve complex problems.
- Utilize curriculum and adjust necessary to engage students in inspiring wonder.
- Engage students with the "Great Books," analyzing themes of truth, beauty, and goodness through a biblical lens.
- Instruct students in Christian Studies, deepening their understanding of Scripture, theology, and the history of the Church.
- Guide students in the art of Rhetoric, teaching them to express their faith and knowledge with eloquence and grace.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A deep, personal faith in Jesus Christ and active involvement in a local church.
- A commitment to the Classical Christian model of education (Trivium).
- Strong content knowledge in Science, Mathematics, Literature, or Theology.
- Excellent classroom management and a heart for mentorship.
- Effective communication skills with both students and parents.

Administrative & Academic Liaison: (Pk-11th Grade) 2026-2027 School Year (full-time)
Amazing Grace Academy is looking for a full-time classical Administrative and Academic Liaison. The qualified individual must be an evangelical Christian committed to living a Biblical lifestyle. He/she is expected to demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing his/her day-to-day duties. The person shall be one who feels called by God to help students and assist the administration. He/she must be devoted to prayerfully working with administration, faculty, students, and parents to develop and maintain a school that is thoroughly Christian and academically exceptional, and which has a goal of accreditation approval in year 6.

Core Operational Responsibilities
- Oversee the school in the absence of the Headmaster, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
- conversations with parents
- conflict resolution and processing social-emotional needs with students
- enforcing school rules and policies
- providing feedback to teachers on occasion
- being mindful of safety and security
- Encourage a loving environment that solves problems through the truth of God's word and prayer, without shaming the student.
- Oversee the lunchroom.
- Lead Playground Supervision.
- Direct traffic and students to appropriate locations before and after school.
- Set-up and tear-down events throughout the school year, before and after school.
- Assist students in the classroom as directed by the teacher or Headmaster.
- assist the targeted student(s) by re-teaching, scribing, small group instruction, organizational coaching, and clarification of instructions
- assist the teacher and targeted student(s) with modified curriculum or differentiated instruction
- assist student(s) with self-care needs
- Assist students out of the regular classroom as directed by teacher(s) or Headmaster.
- assist student(s) who may need reinforcement of basic skills to support their classroom instruction. Maybe in a small group or one-on-one setting
- reteach or give clarification instructions in an outside classroom setting
- assist student(s) who need a modified curriculum
- Material preparation to aid the teacher(s) in preparing lessons for targeted students.
- Meet regularly with teacher(s) and/or Headmaster to establish goals for students, evaluate student needs and the assistance provided, and participate in planning/changing services to meet students' needs.
- Communicate with the headmaster, teachers, and parents about the students' progress as needed.
- Assist with parent-teacher conferences.
- Assist the administration with event planning, policies, and oversee field trips.
- Training for learning disabilities and/or attendance in annual training will be required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
AGA will only employ individuals on a continuing basis who
- Have a born-again personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and maintain a growing relationship with Him.
- Have a desire to serve the Lord in all that they do.
- Are confident of their calling to the Christian School and a strong loyalty to AGA.
- Have the personality to warmly relate to their students and colleagues.
- Are active, loyal members of a local church.
- Are in agreement with the stated purposes of the school as outlined in the personnel contract, belief statement, Staff Policies, Teacher Handbook and this document.
- Have the necessary skills, education, or experience to accomplish their job.
- Display professionalism and excellence.
- Have a desire to continue their education in Classical studies, theological understanding, and/or any training needed per calendar year for ACCS or required school developmental training.
- Possess the knowledge of early childhood development and a love of children, leading to the development of relationships within the small school setting, being able to avoid provoking them to anger, instead diffusing situations that could lead to strife.
- Possess some technical skills, basic knowledge of Canva and Google Programs.
